    For auction is a tourist-class dinner menu from the SS Strathenden, dated September 2, 1950. The SS Strathenden was operated by Peninsula & Orient Steam Navigation Company (P&O), a major cruise ship firm based in Great Britain and the oldest cruise line in the world. P&O merged with Carnival Cruise Line in 2003. Passengers dined on their choice of fish, lamb's tongue and roast beef, along with soup, vegetables, potatoes, salads and sweets. A wine list was available, with selections for purchase.
