P&O-Orient Lines: From 1960, a fold-out brochure featuring cutaways of both the ORIANA and CANBERRA. "New Thinking Combined with British Tradition" proclaims the tag line.
The brochure, printed on thick stock, opens to artists' renderings of both ships. Opening up the brochure further to 4 panels reveals side-by-side cutaways of each ship with key areas numbered. Glowing text gushes about their marvels, "...and each, in its own way, is the most remarkable of its kind ever to be constructed."
What else could you say about ships built to be competitors but ended up fleetmates?
