Description
Here are vintageATLANTA POP FESTIVAL, INC.
CORPORATION DOCUMENTS
from August to November 1969
.
These are genuine corporation documents and a legal dispute as noted on attorney letterhead dated August 4th 1969. There is a proxy statement, a proxy vote and a notice of annual meeting of stockholders.
The dispute was regarding a potential case for a minor stockholder's suit against Atlanta Pop for waste and misuse of corporate assets.
This is about the time when Alex Cooley was moving up the corporate ladder! He was listed first, as one of 3 to be elected to the board.
Atlanta Pop Festivals, Inc. was the corporate body that owned and hosted the 1969 Atlanta Pop Festival. It appears there were 14 investors involved in the corporation as that is how many people are named. These documents were likely only sent to the individuals listed on the letter, so there are very few, if any of these left. This set came from one of the organizers that had kept items in storage.
There are a total of 8 standard size pages with 2 sets that are 2 pages stapled. They are all in really nice condition with typical discoloration and have 2 horizontal folds except the attorney letter that has none. No rips.
