    Description

    You are viewing a beautiful set of 8 berry bowls in Anchor Hocking's Suburbia pattern.  It features white milk glass in a swirled shape with scalloped gold rims.  They measure 5" in diameter.  The pattern was introduced in 1965 and is now discontinued.  The back reads, "Anchor Hocking, Suburbia, Oven Proof, Made in U. S. A."
    The bowls are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, utensil marks, etc.  They are clean and the surfaces are smooth and shiny.  The gold is very well represented.  There are light scratches in the gold rims due to stacking.  I have included close ups of the rims.  Also included is a photo of an advertisement of the pattern from around 1969.
