People with low vision find it easy to insert their FTC lenses with an illuminated inserter. The

Luma-Serter Plus
was designed with those people in mind. The Luma-Serter is attached to a penlight and a beam of light guides the lens to the eye.
Luma-Serter Plus
is designed for lenses that are 13mm and larger. It can be used for scleral. soft, hybrid, or gas permeable contact lenses.
Clean the device with alcohol before first use. Allow to air dry.
Put the device on the lighted end of a penlight. Place the lens on the angled cup. Turn on the penlight. Touch the lens to the eye.
The ribs in the cup will prevent the lens from sticking to it.
You may choose to place the device on the end of a finger instead of a penlight.
