Up for '
BUY IT NOW
' is a mega rare
original
unused ticket from the
Led Zeppelin
concert scheduled to take place at
Madison Square Garden
in New York, NY back on July 29, 1973. This was the 3rd of 3 sold out concerts the band played at Madison Square Garden in New York during their 1973 North American tour.
This was also the final concert of the tour as well
.
This is the infamous concert where the band discovered that they were robbed of almost 0,000 when money was stolen from a safe deposit box at the Drake Hotel in New York. This concert along with the previous 2 performances at Madison Square Garden were filmed and recorded. Portions were used for their 1976 film/soundtrack '
The Song Remains the Same
'. The popular selling Led Zeppelin LP,
Houses of the Holy
, on Atlantic records and tapes was released just 4 months earlier.
