    SS CANBERRA of 1961 was the first book to be published in the LINER BOOKS series created by Luis Miguel Correia in Lisbon in co-authorship with Bill Miller in New York. It was dedicated to one of the best passenger liners of the twentieth century, one of the more famous flagships in the long history of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company, under whose ownership she operated for 36 years, first as a liner on the UK - Australia run and from 1973 onwards cruising until sold for scrap in October 1997. The book covers the history and main data of CANBERRA and is fully illustrated.
