    Description

    P&O-Orient Lines:  A fold-out (26" by 36") one-class deck plan for the ORCADES from the mid-1960s.
    The plan shows nine decks covering both the former First and Tourist class areas.  Former First Class public rooms are shown in b&w photos: Riverina Room, Ballroom, Bamboo Room, and Flinders Restaurant.
    With the retirement of the pre-war STRATHS, the ORCADES of 1948 became the oldest ship in the combined P&O-Orient Line fleet.  At the time this plan was issued, the ship had just been downgraded to a one-class liner aimed at immigrants
    Excellent condition.
