Soviet Photo Identification Card of Givi Chubinidze, Deputy Chairman of the Georgian State Agricultural Construction Trust, State AGROPROM Committee, issued in 1990.

The ID is of extremely high, spectacular quality: bound in finest leather, with impressed gold lettering on the cover. It is of the same format and appearance as membership IDs of the top Soviet legislative government (Supreme Soviet) or members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. The typographically printed text is in both Georgian and Russian language. The ID has facsimile signature of the First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic. It shows that Chubinidze occupied position of Deputy Chairman of Gruzagrostroy (State Agricultural Construction Trust) which was a part of the powerful Agroprom Committee at the Council of Ministers of Georgia. The ID is marked “Valid until December 1990”.
