Soviet WW2 Award Payment Coupon Booklet, supplement for an order booklet.
This is a GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, officially issued Soviet award document - not a replica or reissue!
The document was issued to a recipient of a decoration who was eligible to receive monthly monetary reward for being awarded. Judging by the amount, 10 rubles monthly, the award was probably an Order of the Red Star. The payment began on 1 March 1946 which means that the award was bestowed during the previous month of February 1946. It is interesting to see that most of the monthly coupons in the booklet are unused: the payments stopped in 1947 when the Soviet government issued a decree stopping all payments for awards and effectively stiffing millions of WW2 veterans out of their hard-earned reward. There were other benefits that remained, but the monthly pension became a thing of the past after 1947, so these booklets were mostly discarded and now not too easy to find.
The document is in great condition, with intact cloth binding and clean internal pages.
