Vintage 1930's British Police Bobby Helmet Port of Bristol Obsolete Name Inside
Size: 11"x 7"x 8 3/4"
Badge plate on the front reads PORT OF BRISTOL and bears the number 11
The coat of arms is beautifully detailed with two unicorns and the motto VIRTUTE ET INDUSTRIA
Inside the helmet is a name tag that reads "Grade - Sergt, Name - W. P. Bergin 6 7/8, Station - Bristol Dock"
Ball top and brown interior date this helmet to the 1930's
Condition: Very good vintage condition, leather chin strap is broken where it should attach to the helmet's inside leather band
