This was the Actual Cap used as a Template Sample Design for the Philadelphia Procurement Department for this Style Hat / Cap
It is the FIRST ONE MADE OF ITS KIND for

Patrolman
My father's family business (Loev Brothers) had the contract to supply the Philadelphia Police for ALL of their uniforms for nearly 20 years.
He would work with Procurement to design the specs of each piece of all the uniforms.

It is a Vintage Philadelphia Police Patrol Hat / Cap w Patch c80's Snap Back style.
The Hat is a mesh style cap with snap back and was manufactured by Toppers in Bangladesh.  It was then finished in Philadelphia (Kensington Ave) at Loev Brothers with the Philadelphia  Police Emblem
Condition:  The cap and emblem are MINT.  See detailed Photos.  Nearly 40years old.  It was stored in my fathers office until he recently moved and asked me to sell this for him to someone who is a present or former officer or a collector.
