    Description

    Vintage Fire King Esso Tiger Mug, Opaque White Coffee Cup with D Handle and Decal of the Esso Tiger. Super fun piece of vintage history! Adorable vintage advertising mug features an anthropomorphic tiger face, the mascot for Esso Gasoline, which predated Exxon.  The slogan for the company was "put a tiger in your tank", and the successful slogan helped sell a ton of merchandise as well as gas.  This mug measures 3.5”  tall and is 2.25” across the rim. It holds about 6oz comfortably, 8oz when filled to the brim. No chips or cracks, and it has great shine.  The decal is also in great condition.
